Marks & Spencer
The Oxford Street flagship store of the British retail giant is located at the Marble Arch end of the street. It is the largest M&S outlet anywhere in the country and boasts everything from clothing to food and furnishings. The shop is divided into ranges for every customer, so you can find the collection that works for you. Don’t get confused with Marks & Spencer Pantheon, a smaller store found at the opposite end of Oxford Street.
Last year, Debenhams unveiled its newly refurbished, better-than-ever flagship store on Oxford Street, so now is the perfect time to visit. The shop boasts a huge beauty hall and extensive shoe collection alongside five fabulous floors of the latest fashion, three eateries and a great home department. Whether you’re looking to shop to your heart’s content or sit back and be pampered, you can find it all here; beauty services in the store include a brow, tanning and waxing bar, skin spa and nail bar.
House of Fraser
Located right by Oxford Circus Underground Station, the House of Fraser flagship department store brings the very best designer names to Oxford Street. Brands in the store include Barbour, Ted Baker, Vivienne Westwood and Armani. The men’s department in the shop is the biggest of any House of Fraser, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for the latest designer fashion.
Selfridges opened on Oxford Street in 1909 as a ground-breaking department store and now offers over 540,000 square feet of retail space. It is the second biggest retail premises in the UK, after Harrods. Housed in a Grade II listed building, Selfridges offers luxury fashion, beauty, jewellery, technology and great food. Shop the latest must-have styles, then take time to relax with delicious food and cocktails in Selfridges art-deco inspired café or French bistro.
One of the brands of the famous Arcadia Group, Topshop’s flagship store on Oxford Street offers the latest in fashion trends. Split over three floors and occupying 90,000 square feet, you’ll find the best of Topshop’s range here alongside Oxford Street exclusives, including a vintage shopping section. Inside the flagship store, you’ll also find a hair salon, nail bar, Blink brow bar, personal shopping and much more.
Zara’s flagship store opened its doors in 2015 and is one of five Zara shops on Oxford Street. The high street brand has a lot of famous fans, including the Duchess of Cambridge, so you know you’re shopping in style!

What Time Do Shops on Oxford Street Close?
Shops on Oxford Street stay open later than most high streets, so you’ve got plenty of time to visit all the shops you’d like. Shops tend to close between 8 pm and 10 pm, Monday to Saturday. The Sunday Trading Act limits opening hours on Sundays, so you’ll find most stores open from around 12 pm to 6 pm on these days. Each store differs slightly, though, so it’s always best to check ahead if you’re wanting to visit somewhere specific.
